As someone who’s worked in both the editorial and social media realms for over six years, I can tell you that discovery is the best part of the job. Whether it’s the latest knee-high boots or cool AAPI-owned brands, there’s something magical about what scrolling through the internet can unveil. But possibly the best discovery is a rising fashion influencer who feeds your need for work outfit inspiration or your new TikTok obsession. And with so many great fashion influencers out there, it’s hard to know who to follow. So I reached out to some of my favorite fashion influencers, and ahead, they’re sharing their favorite internet pastimes, personal style, and fall shopping lists. Whether they have 2000 followers or 20,000, these 24 fashion influencers will give your feed a breath of fresh air.

What three words would you use to describe your personal style?

My style is constantly changing, and that’s something I love about fashion. However, I’d describe it as unique, funky, and artistic.

What can people expect if they follow you on social media?

My social media is used as an outlet to share my unique sense of style and inspire my followers on what to wear and how to style it. But I also love photography and love creating aesthetically pleasing photos. I put so much work into deciding what scene and background an outfit will go with and then executing my vision.

What's your favorite internet pastime?

I am super into thrifting; one of my favorite places to shop is Depop. Depop can definitely elevate your style, as you can find the most unique vintage pieces at reasonable prices that no one else will have!

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently?

I love long solid-colored trench coats. They are the perfect statement piece that gives a big pop of color.

I also want to invest in some brown loafers. Loafers are a fall staple, and brown ones would go amazing with a skirt and an oversize brown leather jacket, which is another item in my shopping cart!

Elegant, casual, and high-fashion.

What can people expect if they follow you on social media?

They can expect fashion content, outfit ideas, and conversations around body positivity

What’s your favorite internet pastime?

My favorite internet pastime is watching inspirational and fun videos and memes on Instagram and TikTok! I also like to look at outfits online and try to re-create them for my figure. When in a styling rut, I look to other inspiring individuals (like @lizzobeeating, @irenadrezi, @mollymae, and @lateciat) who share positivity and are not afraid to wear what they want.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently?

I am absolutely in love with this denim set combined with a matching vest and blazer from Boyish!

What’s your favorite internet pastime?

I currently find the Reels on my Instagram Explore quite entertaining and love watching them as a pastime.

I’m eyeing this With Jéan dress for fall. Everything about it is perfect—from the chocolate-brown hue to the corset bodice.

Tomboy, minimal, sometimes classy.

What can people expect if they follow you on social media?

You can expect a lot of real and honest topics on life, relationships, and friendships from the perspective of a 26-year-old down-to-earth girl from a small town in Belgium who is slowly making a name for herself in the fashion world.

What’s your favorite internet pastime?

It used to be Tumblr; that’s how I started sharing my sense of style on the internet. I was obsessed with the platform and made many friends with whom I am still in touch at the moment. Now it’s more Pinterest and my Instagram account, as I follow a lot of inspiring accounts that vary from fashion to fitness.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently?

During fall, I wear a lot of sweaters. Lately, I have had my eyes on the beautiful sweater from Casablanca.

What can people expect if they follow you on social media?

I tend to invest in things that I love; no occasion will stop me from wearing them! So from following me on Instagram, you will see my key investment pieces styled in lots of different ways to make them work for any occasion. I’m also a massive fan of a camera-roll dump!

What’s your favorite internet pastime?

Instagram is, without a doubt, my favorite internet pastime. (I avoid screen-time notifications at all costs.) Once I get past the endless dog and meme accounts I follow, I find @naomianwerr’s account a constant source of inspiration for styling—she can layer outfits like no other! I also love to follow the brand @palomawool. After adding a few of their pieces to my wardrobe, I can tell you it’s a slippery slope for the bank balance, and they’re guaranteed to get, “Where did you get those pants?” at least three times per wear.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently?

This Ganni dress lives in my mind rent-free. I’d wear everything from rubber boots to New Balance sneakers with this dress; it’s perfect for every occasion. Plus, you can never be too dressed for the grocery store.

After loving Paloma Wool all summer long, I’m excited to see what the brand does this fall. Currently, this knit is top of my list.

What three words would you use to describe your personal style?

Versatile, colorful, cool.

What can people expect if they follow you on social media?

I love to share a lot on my social media fashion, my daily style and inspiration, and parts of my life throughout my daily routine (workout, meals, events, TV shows that I like, etc.).

What’s your favorite internet pastime?

I am definitively addicted to Instagram. I spend hours on the app looking for inspiration. I found a lot of inspiration on different profiles, but a few of my favorites are @romeofashionfix, @by.regiina, @zarafredholm, and @imhannawhiting. I also mainly shop online. I find shopping directly in-store too tiring, and I prefer the quiet comfort of shopping on my couch.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently?

I have way too many carts filled with long structured coats.

I’m also in love with the idea of a leather trench coat for fall.

My style is constantly changing, and I’m always pushing myself to mix different pieces to come up with something new.

They can expect a whole lot of style in between the daily randomness that is life.

What’s your favorite internet pastime?

They can expect lots of outfits, lots of championing rental fashion, lots of my friends and family's pets thrown in for fun, and lots of cowboy hats.

What’s your favorite internet pastime?

I spend an increasingly (worrying) amount of time on TikTok. I love all the niche trends that come up in your algorithm. In terms of fashion TikTokers, I love Sara Camposarcone and Anna Golkayepez because they both share all the outfits they have bought secondhand in the United States. It makes me want to travel across the pond and get thrifting.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently?

I have my eyes on the E8 by Miista Liezel boots. I’ve worn my Ganni knee-high boots to death and feel like these could be a good upgrade for fall.

I think people can expect to see an authentic person. I am a midsize fashion content creator, so obviously expect a lot of clothes, but I’m a little different in that I don’t hold anything back. Whether it’s the fit of clothing or as raw as mental illness and living with borderline personality disorder, you can always expect me to be open with my followers.

What’s your favorite internet pastime?

Pinterest or Instagram for sure, although it’s a close toss-up, as I can lose a whole day looking at Pinterest interiors and pinning to my board. I also love following creators who look like me and empower me—women with full-size bodies who are confident in their personal style.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently?

I like to stay on a budget, so these will probably haunt my cart for a while, but I’ve been eyeing a new pair of shoes, and these brown Jordans have me drooling.

I’ve been loving brown for fall, and I’m trying to add more to my wardrobe, so the Meshki faux-leather jacket would be a perfect fall/winter trench to add to my wardrobe.

What is in your shopping cart for fall currently?

I don’t have a favorite place to shop; I can shop everywhere so long as the piece is of excellent quality. For me, this oversize Fendi cardigan is at the top of my wish list for fall.
