H&M's New Fall-Ready Denim Drop Is Here—Shop 10 Affordable Must-Have Pairs
Look, I pretty much live in jeans. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, you can almost always find me in my tried-and-true baby blues. In fact, unless I’m on the beach, at a wedding (no matching 2001 Britney-and-Justin denim looks for me and my S.O.), or the gym (never say never?), there’s a 99.9% likelihood you’ll find me in a pair. So as you might imagine, I’m constantly refreshing my denim arsenal to make sure I’m stocked with the latest trends.
It really helps that H&M is so damn reliable in this department. Just take a look at the retailer’s latest drop, which features everything from classic skinnies to frayed, ripped retro offerings and, (my personal favorite) more forward-feeling wide-leg styles. Keep on scrolling to see the pairs I’ve got sitting in my cart at this very moment—I’ll show you how I plan on working them into my fall wardrobe, because chillier days are right around the corner.
I love all of my denim children equally in theory, but this is the pair I tend to not-so-secretly favor. The raw hem, wide leg, and overall ’70s vibe are all very much My Thing. Wear with this delightfully OTT cow-print jacket come late September.
These sleek, pocketless skinnies require an equally sleek bodysuit, no? (This one’s also on my list.) Once cooler weather starts rolling in, balance out the proportions via this ribbed oversize cardigan, et voilà!
Because I checked, and it’s actually mathematically impossible to have too many pairs of black skinnies. And also because these are going to look so great with this easy, breezy polka-dot blouse as festival season comes to an end. (Speaking of It prints, this zebra-print blouse I got on my lunch break last week? Also ready to report for duty.)
Ah, the perfect pair of vintage jeans, complete with the requisite raw hem. No need to complicate things—this cool white tank is all you need here in sunny Los Angeles, ideally worn with this excellent oversize leather-look shirt jacket.
I’m so glad flares are having yet another moment—these are going to look so good with this linen-blend milkmaid blouse I plan on buying in not one but two colorways. And don’t even get me started on this fall-ready top-stitched utility jacket.
Now for a pair of jeans with more than a touch of edge. Add to the rock ’n’ roll vibe with a cropped band tee to blend in with L.A. girls at Sunday brunch in West Hollywood, and don’t forget to scoop up a cozy crew-neck sweatshirt for the cooler weather on the horizon.
The beauty of these mid-wash skinnies? They’re easy to dress up or down and make a nice office option, should you be lucky enough to work in a more casual setting. Keep things casual yet sleek with this classic trench.
These vintage-inspired jeans have that worn, lived-in look that I live for. They’re distressed in just the right places and have the perfect amount of stretch, and I’ve christened these my go-to road-trip jeans—just add this heavier hooded plaid jacket to complete the look.
Jeans just don’t get any cooler than this wide-legged pair. Keep it simple an equally oversize plain white tee and a premium wool blazer to help transition back into office mode.
Consider these your official off-duty jeans. Cuffed, whiskered, and ready to accompany you on all of your Saturday morning errands—especially when you pull on your favorite casual mock-neck sweater.
