14 of the Most Iconic Fall Airport Outfits Ever Seen on Celebs

One way in which celebrities aren't just like us when they travel is that they frequently have cameras trailing them at the airport. It explains why they often dress to the nines for long travel days when many of their fellow passengers are wearing clothes that could pass for pajamas. It would certainly be enough to make me forgo the sweatpants and sneakers.

With fall's official arrival in a matter of days, autumnal outfits that I can't wait to wear have been occupying my brain. Looking at old celebrity airport photos is one of my favorite pastimes, and I set out on a mission to find the most epic fall airport looks from years past. (Disclaimer: Not all of these photos were taken in the fall, but these outfits would be perfect for the September to November period.)

Cindy Crawford, Halle Berry, Princess Diana, Taylor Swift, and more are up ahead, so prepare yourself for some very chic throwback fall airport style and some shopping, of course.

When you're wearing a coat like this, it doesn't really matter what's underneath it, but in Halle Berry's case, the rest of the outfit is perfect too.

Airport-style queen of the 2010s Kate Bosworth has so many good looks to choose from, but I'm partial to this easy fall skinny-jeans look. It actually makes me want to start wearing skinny jeans again.

Nothing says iconic like this glamorous Naomi Campbell look from 1998. I'd love to be flanked by that much Louis Vuitton luggage.

While I wouldn't wear a cropped sweater, a micro miniskirt, sheer tights, and heels on a flight, I probably would if I were Taylor Swift.

Miranda Kerr is one of those celebs who's always gotten quite dressed up for the airport. With the return of sheer tights, I was drawn to this particular outfit. She proved that as long as you have a big coat to wrap yourself up in on the plane, you can kind of wear anything.
