Dakota Johnson Just Wore the Naked Version of 2023's Most-Wanted Shoes
At the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, Dakota Johnson piled on all of the season's favourite accessories, creating a look seeped in luxury with a causal, wearable twist. Styling Gucci's contrast-collar denim jacket, Johnson juxtaposed the workwear essence of the overcoat by pairing it with one of the most delicate trending items right now: Alaïa's mesh ballet flats. Combining the playful fishnet material with a delicate ballet-flat shape, Alaïa created the year's most coveted slipper. Having inspired the rest of the market, the mesh-shoe trend has proven it has serious staying power, with styles continuing to pop up from high-end designers and high-street brands alike.
Topping off her trifecta of fabulous accessories was Johnson's Bottega Veneta Andiamo handbag. In a deep brown shade, the luxe bag features a sliding crossbody strap which can be worn draped across the body.
Dakota Johnson wore her Gucci contrast-collar denim jacket with a Bottega Veneta Andiamo bag and Alaïa mesh ballet flats.
She completed her casual outfit with a pair of oversized shades and glimmering, golden hoops. Her base layer comprised of a pink button-down shirt, casually knotted at the waist and styled with a pair of navy, straight-leg trousers. The look is truly a masterclass in pre-fall dressing, whilst Johnson stayed true to her effortlessly chic roots.
