Karl Lagerfeld might well be the most prolific designer producing work today. (Sorry, Alexander Wang.) Not only does he produce three full Chanel collections a year, but each lineup is incredibly robust, with anywhere from 50 to 100 looks walking the runway each time.
His latest collection for the Parisian brand is no exception. As a follow-up to his Métiers d'Art collection last year, which he famously showed in Dallas, Lagerfeld took the line to Salzburg, Austria, for his latest offering of the collection, which comprises more than 80 outfits. Inspired by his childhood growing up in Germany, the collection is filled with traditional German garb—and yes, lederhosen make many an appearance.
