I recently got back from a quick trip to Paris, and to state the obvious, there's nothing quite like the romance of fall in the French capital. The gorgeous foliage against the elegant architecture and pretty parks, the sparkling light hitting the Seine, the cozy cafés and tempting bakery windows… not to mention the fashion. It's the perfect time of year for chic layering, classic trench coats, cute cardigans, and relaxed blazers, to name but a few Parisian staples. There's no season that I relish that effortlessly chic French-girl look more than fall.

To get inspired for my "autumn in Paris" wardrobe this season, I'm highlighting six looks I've spotted lately that I cannot wait to emulate. Many of these looks are comprised of timeless yet of-the-moment staples, this season's biggest trends, and a perfect dose of je ne sais quoi.
