I Read a Ton of Reviews to Find Comfortable Flats—These 26 Styles Are Best

When you think of a "comfortable shoe choice,” flats undoubtedly come to mind. But as many of us probably can speak to from experience, not all flats are actually comfortable. No, they may not have the same type of discomfort as sky-high heels, but many seemingly comfy silhouettes can still pinch, cause blisters, and the like. That said, there are a range of chic styles out there that will give your feet a break.
To highlight said flats, we went straight to the review sections of some of our go-to shops to uncover the styles fellow customers say are truly comfortable with over four stars and above. Intrigued? Keep scrolling to check out a range of flats, including loafers, ballet flats, sandals, and so on. You’ll also see an actual customer testimonial for each to highlight the flats even more.

"I love these sandals. I have received more compliments on these shoes and people are always excited to hear they can find them on Amazon. These are very comfortable. After reading the reviews I did size 1/2 a size up and they fit perfectly. If you want cute, comfy, well-priced sandals this summer...grab a pair of these. You won’t be sorry." — Jill K
"These shoes are so versatile and go with so many outfits. They are very cute and the tan color is beautiful. Upon trying them on, I thought the sole was a bit stiff, but after wearing them for the first time they broke in after the first wear and are quite comfortable actually. They are 100% true to size. There is a light padded sole as well." — Beach Mama
Loafers
"Love these Brixton Loafers! So sleek and stylish. Much better on and in person. But most of all so comfortable. I didn't size up, typically 7.5/37.5, and high-end designer 8/38 (CL, Manolo etc) but ended up getting these in a 7/37. They are a bit snug but not to the point where they are uncomfortable. The sales rep assured me that these will stretch and that if I went 1/2 size up they may end up being too big as the leather is very buttery soft and on the thinner side. If you are unsure just do it! It's a classic style that will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come." — NSKB
"Versatile and comfortable. I love these flats — they're perfect to wear to the office and anywhere else. True-to-size but they do need a little bit of breaking-in to loosen up in the heel, but that's pretty normal - the soft leather should relax in no time. I'm happy I purchased these! Definitely recommend." — rhirhirhi
"This shoe is true to size, I normally wear a size 8.5 and it’s what I bought, this shoe is super comfortable, and very stylish, I have rather wide feet, but this shoe didn’t hurt my wide feet at all (I didn’t need to order to wide length), it is my favorite flat, I have ordered several colors, loving this shoe." — JazminH
Ballet and Classic Flats
"I've spent several hundreds of dollars looking for a wear-to-work flat that looks professional, but won't kill my feet. I wish I had bought these first. They look great and are super comfy. I just bought a second pair for when we go back to work. True to size." — SaraHarriet
