I Went Viral for My Taste in Designer Shoes—These 5 Are My Most Comfortable
If you like to watch people spend money as much as I do, you may already be following Audrey Peters on TikTok. She's one of the ultimate collectors of designer goods on the social media platform and is always one of the first to try out an it-buy. The accessory that currently holds her focus is a personal favorite of mine: shoes. After going viral for tracking down the Chanel slides that no one person in the U.S. could get their hands on, she let us into her closet to discover that among the dozens of high heels she owns, only a few are actually comfortable.
If you know me, you know I'm all about comfort when it comes to the shoes that I add to my collection so I was all ears when I stumbled across this TikTok. It seemed I wasn't the only person who felt that way as the response was very enthusiastic. I convinced Peters to take a break from the European travels she's currently documenting all over her Instagram to tell us more about the shoes she's currently raving about. Below, she spills all on the five styles that rank in as her most comfortable.
"I collect designer shoes because I think they're art. That being said, as an avid hot girl walker, if I'm spending all this money on my art I may as well be able to get use out of it which I why ideally my art should be comfortable. There is nothing sexier than strutting in your designer shoes effortlessly because you aren't in pain."—Audrey Peters
"These are the most comfortable designer heels I've ever put on my feet, I could hot girl walk in them for miles. I actually consider Amina Muaddi the queen of comfortable designer heels because of the nature of the design of her heels. Her signature flared heel as seen on the black suede Lupitas and the python Holli's provides more stability to the shoe and comfort. They're the easiest heels to add to any outfit and still keep it exciting."—Peters

"She makes this same shoe in a PVC. Skip those—they're uncomfortable. This one is amazing."—Peters

"These Valentino pumps are deceiving because you'd think they're uncomfortable because they're sky-high but they are super comfortable, shockingly. I have them in black too. The Valentino Tan Go Pump is the It shoe of the moment and I totally understand why. Not only is it the sexiest shoe, [but it] elongates your legs like no other shoe but it's so comfortable."—Peters

"The platform makes it super comfortable while also providing height so you look thousands of miles long."—Peters

"I'm not sure what witchery the Attico girls did to construct this pump, but this shoe that I now have in four different colors is ridiculously comfortable."—Peters

"I feel like a lot of the time wrap-around shoes constrict you, and generally speaking, I think pointed pumps squish your toes, but this shoe somehow does neither."—Peters

"As far as the orans go, I would give them literally a 9.5 out of 10 and the only reason they don't get a 10/10 is because they take one to two wears to break in. Once that's over with, I could walk in them all day long. My best hack is to actually take them to a shoe cobbler as soon as you buy them before you wear them so when you are wearing the shoe you aren't wearing down the leather you're wearing down the rubber so the shoes will last much longer and also they won't be as slippery!"—Peters

"The YSL Jodi heel may appear intimidating because of its size, but the reality is that the platform makes the shoe that much more comfortable even if you aren't close to the ground while wearing them."—Peters

"They make your legs look the sexiest out of all the shoes that I mentioned."—Peters
