Fifteen years ago, I fell in love with a handbag. I was on the way back from a road trip with my family, and we stopped by the Coach outlet to buy my older sister a bag for her birthday. I was around 10 years old at the time, so of course, I had absolutely no reason to own a designer purse, but I was filled with jealousy. She ended up buying a white mini shoulder bag with a rainbow logo print—it was the mid-2000s after all. I have no idea where that bag went and have expressed my feelings about her not keeping it around for me. In just the past few days, I've seen at least five TikToks talking about the new Lana bag, with nothing but "I need it" and "I'm influenced" comments under the video.
