The 9 Brands Fashion Editors Always Buy Their Basics From

If you ask any fashion editor which part of their wardrobe gets the most attention, they'll probably say basics. Forming the essential groundwork for all outfits, these hard-working buys may fade into the background, but they can be surprisingly hard to get right. So I did a bit of a poll amongst my fellow editors to find out which brands they turn to again and again for those perfect jeans, boots, roll-neck knits or Breton tops.

From Raey's luxurious cashmere and Totême's trending tailoring to COS's enviable outwear and Uniqlo's minimalist separates, scroll down to see and shop the best brands for wardrobe basics.
