Yet Again, Bella Hadid Makes Her Case for Early '00s Style
Sponsor Content Created With True Religion
Prepare to slide your Juicy Tube into a horseshoe-embroidered pocket once again, because along with teeny-tiny sunglasses and Dior's iconic Saddle bag, True Religion denim is suddenly everywhere we look. Short of going back in time and shooting a campaign with Marissa Cooper (circa The O.C. Season 3, when she was working at the Bait Shop and hanging with Volchok), True Religion couldn't have found a more fitting collaborator than Bella Hadid. Who better to reimagine all that original denim goodness than she who claimed the 2005 aesthetic and made it very 2018? Those Bella Hadid x True Religion campaign looks are finally ready to browse online—shop her looks below, plus our other top picks from the collection.
SHOP BELLA'S CAMPAIGN
For someone who was still in her single digits in 2005, Hadid sure does a solid impression of an original '00s style icon.
All about the ultra-dark wash and flattering back pockets. (Also deserving an honorable mention: that chain belt.)
Behold, these low-slung, hip-hugging, whiskered flares and that crop tee in all their glory.
SHOP OUR OTHER FAVES
If you don't own a mockneck bodysuit, I have no idea how you even get through winter.
Wearing this to skip school.
NBD, just the perfect pair of skinnies.
This tee, under a blazer: 10/10. This tee with a full suit? At least 18/10.
Like regular jeans, only slicker.
Natalie leads the style direction for the all content we create in partnership with our friends at various brands plus the legendary team of editors who work on those shoots and stories. She loves collaborating and storytelling, so it's a really fun role for her. It's also the first full-time job she's ever had! She started out in her career as a very mediocre model who agreed to her first styling job to impress a photographer she had a crush on, which led her down a happy path of contributing to Vogue Australia and working as a stylist, fashion writer, and creative director for all sorts of brands and titles. She has a bachelor of communications, but most of her career opportunities came up thanks to some fleeting and accidental street style moments. She's been at Who What Wear for three and a half years and still loves to work as a freelance consultant with brands and designers to shoot their campaigns in NYC. She's originally from New Zealand, and Bondi Beach is her second home, but like just about every other 20-something, she fell in love with New York at some point. She lives in Williamsburg with her fiancé and their weird little dog, Ruby. If you ever need reccies for feel-good fashion, legit coffee spots, politics podcasts, or non-intimidating yoga studios, she's very much your girl.
