Want Soft, Glowing Legs for Spring? These 8 Products Deliver Every Time
Bodycare just got a glow-up, and these are the shower gels, lotions, oils and more to have on your radar.
Whilst I'm over the moon with all this warmer weather we seem to be getting, there's one thing that's bothering me: my bodycare routine. No matter how much body lotion I reach for, my skin is forever dry and itchy this spring, so you can imagine how unappealing my denim shorts and miniskirts seem right now.
It's not that I don't want to get my legs out, it's just that my scaly skin is putting me off somewhat. Luckily for me, in my job as a beauty editor, my office has this magical thing called a beauty cupboard. Within this cupboard sit the best new body products that have launched over the past few months, just waiting for someone to pick them up and test them.
I ventured down there the other week in a bid to save my skin, and I have to say, this season it seems as if brands are stepping up their bodycare launches. Forget heavily fragranced, irritating shower gels and body creams that do nothing except add a thin layer of greasiness to the skin, as 2026 is all about advanced formulations that look great, smell great, but more importantly, do great.
Below, I've rounded up the best new body products of the year that have already made a huge difference to my routine. If you want glowing limbs just in time for the mini heatwave we're having, I highly recommend that you keep on scrolling.
The Best New Body Products of 2026
- Best Body Wash: Naturium The Calmer Ceramide Body Wash, £19
- Best Body Lotion: Joonbyrd Future Romance Longevity Body Glaze, £62
- Best Body Cream: Saltair Coral Coast Body Butter, £23
- Best Luxury Launch: Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Duo, £115
- Best Affordable Launch: Dove Body + Mind Jojoba Oil & Coconut Milk Serum Body Wash, £5
1. Naturium The Calmer Ceramide Body Wash
Pros
- Nourishes and soothes the skin
- Good value for money
Cons
- Too bulky to travel with
- Some may prefer a scented formula
This might not be the most glamorous launch of the lot, but if you usually find shower gels irritating or drying, you'll want to get your hands on Naturium's newest body wash. Designed to soothe and cleanse sensitive skin, The Calmer Ceramide Body Wash contains a nourishing blend of ceramides, oatmeal and cocoa butter to moisturise, minimise irritation and strengthen the skin barrier. I love using this in the shower, as it leaves my skin feeling clean, not stripped. Although it's unscented, I know I can follow up with scented body oils or lotions if I want, as it creates the perfect base for the rest of my routine. Plus, for £19, the 500ml bottle is seriously impressive.
2. Joonbyrd Future Romance Longevity Body Glaze
Pros
- Smells delicious
- Lightweight yet moisturising serum-lotion texture
- Packed with ingredients to support long-term skin health
- Adds a subtle sheen to the skin
Cons
- Pump isn't the most efficient
- More expensive
Joonbyrd is known for its fun packaging and gourmand scents, but the formulas themselves are top-tier. The brand's newest launch is no exception. Part of a new longevity duo (alongside the Joonbyrd Big Time Longevity Body Wash, £39), the Future Romance Body Glaze is everything I've been looking for this spring. The perfect middle point between a sensorial masterpiece and cutting-edge innovation, this lightweight serum-lotion texture includes grape flower exosomes, resveratrol and peptides. At the risk of sounding like a science lesson, essentially, this powerful blend works to improve long-term skin health. It boosts the skin barrier function and reduces the appearance of fine lines. Not only that, but it's incredibly moisturising, adds a subtle sheen to the skin, and is scented with notes of banana, peach, tonka bean and cacao. Delicious.
3. Saltair Coral Coast Body Butter
Pros
- Smells super summery
- Really moisturising
Cons
- Tub is hard to travel with
- Might be too thick for some
It's no secret that I'm a fan of Saltair. When this brand first launched in the UK, I wasn't sure if the fragranced formulas would suit my skin; however, the body creams are probably some of the most moisturising, buttery textures I've ever come across, so when I heard that they had a new scent for spring and summer, you best believe I added it to my line-up straight away. The Coral Coast scent is a blend of coconut, water lily and guava. It has a beautifully fresh, tropical aroma that lingers for hours. Not only that, but the formula contains ceramides, essential fatty acids, phospholipids, phytosterols and sea buckthorn oil, making it deeply hydrating for dry skin. It's definitely a thicker texture than the lotion above, which is why I like to apply it at night, and I always wake up with baby-soft skin the next day.
4. Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Duo
Pros
- Makes your shower feel like a luxurious spa
- Deeply nourishes dry skin
Cons
- Scent is quite strong
- A little more expensive
Yep, that's right. You can now shop some of Elemis' most popular skincare formulas, but for your body. The brand has just launched a body cleansing balm (inspired by the iconic Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, of course) and a Pro-Collagen Marine Body Cream. Created with the belief that your body deserves just as much care as your face, this two-step ritual boosts the skin barrier, hydrates and improves elasticity. I'm not going to lie to you, when I first heard about this launch, I assumed the body wash would be far too greasy for me, but my dry skin can't get enough. It's not as thick as the facial cleansing balm, and on contact with water, it actually transforms into a nourishing milky texture. Pair this with the body cream, and wow. Not only will you smell like a luxurious spa, but your skin will be the smoothest it's ever felt.
5. This Works Skin Deep Dry Leg Oil Roller
Pros
- Easy to apply
- Soothing scent
- Nourishing blend of oils
Cons
- More suitable for touch-ups, rather than all-over body application
I love body oil as much as the next person, but can we all agree that it's a bit of a faff to apply? Luckily, brands finally seem to be listening, as This Works has just launched an innovative roller ball applicator to transform scaly skin in seconds. The travel-friendly formula is so easy to apply and contains a blend of botanical oils and plant oils to deliver moisture to the skin. It has a calming, spa-like scent that instantly soothes both my skin and mind, and the subtle sheen it leaves means I'm constantly throwing it in my handbag to touch up my legs and décolletage on the go.
6. Dove Body + Mind Jojoba Oil & Coconut Milk Serum Body Wash
Pros
- Super affordable
- Smells luxurious
- Moisturising formula
Cons
- Dispenser can be a little messy
Sometimes, the most affordable skincare products are the most efficacious, and this is certainly the case with Dove's latest launch. At just £5, the Body + Mind Serum Body Wash from the brand has blown all my other shower gels out of the water. As the name suggests, it has a beautiful, serum-like texture that glides onto the skin. It's actually oil-based, which explains why it feels so moisturising. Made with antioxidant-rich vitamin E and jojoba oil, it leaves my skin soft and glowy, and the coconut milk scent is ideal for this time of year.
7. Neom Great Day Exfoliating Body Wash
I don't have a picture of this body wash as it's currently sitting in my shower, but hopefully that proves how much I like it. I tend to avoid exfoliating products and body scrubs as I always think they will be too harsh on my skin, but actually, if your skin is feeling dry, sometimes a good exfoliation is all it needs. Enter Neom's brand new body wash. Firstly, we have to talk about the scent. A blend of wild mint and mandarin, it's a truly uplifting fragrance that genuinely boosts my mood whenever I use it. It doesn't feel drying on the skin thanks to a blend of natural essential oils, and it actually features natural exfoliators such as upcycled olive stone to gently polish the skin. I don't use it every time I shower, but when I do, I always notice a difference.
Pros
- Uplifting fragrance
- Gently exfoliates the skin
Cons
- Wouldn't recommend using it every single day if you have dry skin
8. Bioderma Sebium Kerato + Body Spray
Similarly to how I started this article, I'm ending it on a rather unglamorous product, but one that has become a mainstay in my collection nonetheless. If, like me, you suffer from body breakouts, you'll love this. I get a few breakouts on my back, and it can be hard to reach this area, but Bioderma has created an easy-to-use spray that makes treating the area much simpler. The non-greasy formula contains salicylic acid, niacinamide and lilac extract to regulate sebum production, reduce inflammation and soothe the skin. It can take a while to see results, but, much like your skincare routine, stay consistent and stick with it for the best results on those pesky breakouts.
Pros
- Easy to apply to hard-to-reach areas
- Packed with skin-loving ingredients
Cons
- Have to use consistently in order to see results
