Lana Del Rey Has Been Secretly Wearing This New Glow-Boosting Product for Months

Coachella happened two months ago. That means it's been 60-ish days since Lana Del Rey performed on-stage, wearing one of the most perfect makeup looks I've ever seen. Allow me to highlight the two elements of the look that left me starstruck: First, there was her defined, glossy lips (Luckily, I know the exact products her makeup artist Etienne Ortega used to create the look.) Second, there was her angelic, glowing skin. This was the element I was most obsessed with. At the time, I didn't know what product was responsible, but now I do.
Ortega's eponymous beauty brand just launched a new, glow-boosting skin balm, and it's the exact one he's been using on Lana Del Rey for months. That means it's the same product he used to create her celestial glow ahead of her Coachella performance. Yep, I finally have all the deets. Obviously, I was desperate to get my hands on it. Once I did, I couldn't stop using it. Keep scrolling to see my before-and-after pictures and learn why it's such a stellar product.
Here's a better look at her Coachella glow. I mean, just look at that radiance.
Here it is—a shimmery glow balm that gives the skin a glossed effect. This product provides the prettiest dewy finish thanks to marbled shades, finely milled shimmer, and a hydrating formula enriched with blue agave and vitamin E.
Like any highlighter, you can apply these to your cheeks for an ethereal glow. You can also dab them onto the lips for a glossy finish, or use them on your body (think collarbones and shoulders) for a summertime sheen.
There are four shades. This one is called Ice Queen. It's a cool, silvery-blue shade.
Next up is this berry-pink color called Rosè Quartz. The shimmer paired with the swirled effect makes it look like some kind of magical berry parfait. I'm obsessed.
Ortega used this gold shade on Lana Del Rey before this year's Met Gala. It's no surprise it's called Golden Hour. After all, these Glow Balms were inspired by "summer skies and golden sunsets." Fitting.
Last but not least, there's this warm, rosy shade. It reminds me of a California sunset.
How It Looks IRL
First of all, these look just as stunning—if not more so—in person as they do online. Just look at that swirled shimmer. I truly can't stop staring at it.
I chose to use the shade Rosè Quartz because I couldn't get enough of that rich berry swirl. To apply it, I used my fingers. I dabbed it over top of my foundation—placing it on my cheekbones, nose, inner eyes, brow bone, Cupid's bow, and chest.
I used barely any product, yet as you can see, my skin has a lit-from-within glow. I liked that the color wasn't so pigmented that it looked obvious or unnatural. As for the shimmer, it gave my skin a subtle wet-look dewiness. Did I just find my new favorite highlighter? Yeah, I did.
