Since Replacing My Daily Perfume With These Body Mists, I've Been Inundated With Compliments

Byredo's new body mists are every bit as chic as you'd expect—these are my favourites from the collection.

If there is a chic fragrance brand that sets any beauty editor or beauty-lover's pulse racing, then Byredo perfumes are absolutely up there. From its cool-girl-coded fragrance names to the iconic black domed bottle lids that instantly elevate your dressing table, there is a lot to love about the luxury perfume brand.

Over my decade of working as a beauty journalist, I've collected a few bottles of Byredo perfumes (Mojave Ghost and Vanille Antique are amongst some of my all-time favourites, in case you were wondering) and also its hair perfumes (the Gypsy Water Hair Perfume? My hair has never smelt better). And with perfumed body mists becoming one of the biggest product trends in fragrance over the past couple of years, I've long dreamt about what a Byredo Body Mist might look like. So when an email landed in my inbox that Byredo was indeed launching some of its most iconic fragrances as body mists this month, I just knew I had to get my hands on them.

Firstly, these might be the chicest body mists I've laid my eyes upon. In true Byredo fashion, they're housed in beautifully minimalist frosted glass bottles that feel luxuriously weighty to hold in your hands, and the misting mechanism delivers a cloud-like vapour that is a total joy to mist over your body or clothes. They're a great way to top up or layer with your current Byredo perfume to make it even more long-lasting, or even layer with another scent. However, they're also a great way to try some of the most-loved Byredo scents at a slightly more affordable price-point, coming in at £68 for a generous 100ml. They're definitely lighter than the eau de parfums, of course, but I've had plenty of compliments from wearing them alone. Plus, at that price, I'm more on board with spritzing these a little more liberally when I want to refresh my scent.

There are currently six Byredo body mists to choose from, so if you're needing some pointers on which one to go for, scroll on for my first impressions of each of the scents.

2. Byredo Mojave Ghost Body Mist

3. Byredo Gypsy Water Body Mist

4. Byredo Blanche Body Mist
