Australians at the Oscars

We already know that Australians have great taste. Look at Margot Robbie, for example, who has been known to opt for Australian designers at any chance she gets. Perhaps it is because of the seasonal difference, or because we are just influenced by our laid-back culture (after all, we do have some of the best beaches in the world), but regardless, we always love to look at how our fellow Australians represent our country and stand out amongst the crowd.

At the 90th annual Academy Awards, we weren't let down. With a number of Australians in attendance, we've seen some amazing looks on the red carpet and at the after-parties from our home-grown stars.

From Abbie Cornish to Samara Weaving, there's no question that Australian style has put a good foot forward on this year's red carpet. In dreamy silhouettes, and perfectly fitted gowns, we can't help but dream of scenarios in which we could replicate these breathtaking looks.
