If, like me, your day-to-day style errs on the simpler side, at some point or another you’ve probably wondered whether you’re accidentally venturing too close to the world of dressing boring. I get it. In fact, I’m sure that to some my outfits do appear less-than-interesting at times, but one thing I’ve found that always helps make my arsenal of basics and neutrals feel a little more exciting is the addition of cool bags and shoes.
Enter: the latest pieces from our Who What Wear line of accessories, all of which are not only eye-catching and on-trend but are also on the relatively more affordable side, too. In short, whether you opt for one piece or can't help but snag a few, they're all you need to turn your go-to look from simple to, well, simple-but-cool. To see and shop my not-so-little edit of favorites for yourself, including pieces that work for summer, fall, and both, just keep scrolling.
If you think you can't wear these come fall, you're mistaken.
These will look so good paired with other shades of blue.
If you love dressing in neutral colors, this bag will go with all your usual outfits.
Kitten heels go with everything from skirts and dresses to jeans and trousers.
I used to think light bags were only for the warmer seasons, but now I actually prefer how they look with fall and winter outfits.
Don't worry—this little bag is actually functional, too.
I have these and plan to keep wearing them with socks for as long as I can into fall.
The square-shaped back on these makes such a difference.
I don't have much of an excuse to wear heels these days, but I'd find one for these.
Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently senior market editor. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
