The Coolest Accessory Trends to Try This Fall
We may still be sweltering in the 90-degree summer heat, but the reality is that fall is in the not-too-distant horizon, my friends. And what better to ease our way into an exciting new season than by layering our limbs in this season's biggest accessory trends? We looked to the F/W 18 runways to see what will be huge for the crisp and cool season ahead. Luckily, the lineup of adornments is nothing short of spectacular—in fact, if we had to sum it up, we'd say the bigger and bolder, the better! From chandelier earrings to exquisite gloves and hands-free bags, scroll below for the best accessory trends we'll be donning as soon as the leaves start to turn brown. Guaranteed to transform any outfit with little effort.
Glitzy Chandelier Earrings
Go big or go home, yelled the runways with the plethora of long, glistening, and uniquely shaped earrings that sashayed down the runway. Pair your epic earrings with a simple black dress for the fall season ahead.
Gloves
Fall and winter are all about the gloves—preferably ones that extend to the elbow and come in all colors of the rainbow. They may not be iPhone-friendly, but they're impeccably chic.
Animal-Print Shoes
Your motto for the new season is animal-print everything! From bags to dresses and shoes, the pattern comes in all colors and textures for fall. We're particularly partial on leopard-print shoes. The easiest way to jazz up a jeans-and-tee combo.
Hands-Free Bags
Neck bags and belt bags took center stage down the runways for fall. And we're absolutely on board with the hands-free and carefree look.
Mismatched Earrings
If there's one way to make a statement with your jewelry, it's with mismatched, asymmetric, or a single dangling earring. Cool and contemporary, that is sure to add interest to your outfit.
Statement Scarves
From puffer-style scarves to silky print kerchiefs, scarves are not only practical in the colder months, but they also make for a statement bold look. Tie them around your neck, head, bag straps, and ankles for a modern look.
Western Belts
Western-style leather belts can transform a turtleneck and jeans into a cool and edgy look. Say yee-haw to these styles below.
Chunky Cuff Bracelets
While we saw plenty of adorned ear action on the runway, we saw wrists basked in sculptural works of art too. Whether you go for a chic and minimalist design or cuffs with motifs and intricate designs, a standout bracelet should most definitely be on your wish list for fall.
Cowboy Boots
Cowboy boots add a cool-girl edge to every outfit and are set to be a huge trend for the cooler months ahead. Wear them in tan, black, or white with your midi skirts and jeans.
Logomania
Logo is a go-go! From bags to tights and everything in between, wear your favorite designer's logo front and center, as seen on the runways at Gucci and Christian Dior.
