12 Excellent Outfits I Plan on Re-Creating This Spring
It's safe to say that we all need to fall back in love with our clothes again. Don't get me wrong; I've loved lounging around in chic knitted sets, but now I'm making a point of relishing in the art of getting ready once more. However, after months of relying on the same staples day in, day out, if you feel somewhat uninspired when you throw open your wardrobe doors, rest assured you're not alone. I've also felt pangs of uncertainty when I pull out long-forgotten pieces from the depths of my rails.
Instead of letting these feelings overwhelm me back into my leggings, I decided to take to Instagram to indulge in a little scrolling. Any outfit that caught my eye, I saved in my collections. When I revisited them a couple of days later, there were a few looks—12 specifically—that I really loved. The best part is that, aside from a couple of new-season investments, many of the pieces I need to re-create the looks are already somewhere in my wardrobe just waiting to be rediscovered.
Scroll below to see the spring 2021 outfit ideas I love, and then shop the pieces you need to fill any gaps you may have in your closets.
Style Notes: A trench coat is always a good idea, and Amaka has found a way to carry hers into the warmer months by styling it with a bra top and on-trend wide-leg jeans.

Style Notes: Miniskirts are back on the style agenda for 2021. Give them some retro appeal by pairing them with platform boots, much like French fashion icon Anne-Laure did.

Style Notes: Tick off two major spring trends in one by layering a pastel knit over shirting with supersize collars.
Shop the look:
Style Notes: All-black outfits aren't necessarily boring. Make like Monikh and wear shades of black in different textures, such as leather and satin, to create a cool contrast.
Shop the look:
Style Notes: Outfit combinations don't come much more classic than jeans and a shirt, but Sabina switches up the look by wearing a blue Oxford stripe with grey-toned jeans.

Style Notes: Jumpsuits are the perfect spring outfit solution. Much like dresses, they require zero styling effort on your part—just pair with your favourite chunky boots.

Style Notes: This fresh white-and-teal outfit is one of the chicest outfits we've seen in a long while. Until temperatures start to rise, swap TyLynn's tank for an ecru knitted roll-neck.

Style Notes: Matching cardigans and tops are still big news this year. Aren't they the perfect way of breathing new life into leggings?
Shop the look:
Style Notes: A navy skirt suit will always look chic. Wear it with a chunky cable-knit underneath, finish with chunky loafers, and it'll feel very on-trend.
Shop the look:
Style Notes: Jumper dresses are still firmly on our radar, but instead of the neutral palette we've been sporting, we're following Lydia's lead by snapping up a bright iteration that'll carry us through until summer.
Shop the look:
Style Notes: Leather trousers (be they real or faux) are the ideal solution if you're bored of wearing your jeans, as they provide equal, if not more, warmth in early spring.
Shop the look:
Style Notes: What would spring be without gingham? We love Michelle's combination of the picnic print with sunny yellow strides.
