I Just Want to Carry the It Bag Fashion People Love
There are certain bags out there that just seem to understand me. I’m talking about satchels that not only hold my essentials flawlessly, but also fit my style so well they’re like an extension of me. While I admit I have a few silhouettes that cater to this vibe, there’s one I’ve been eyeing that might just find its way into a permanent spot in my rotation: the Acne Studios Musubi bag.
This line launched last year, and new iterations have continued to pop up throughout 2018. While I’ve been thinking about the bag (which I think is totally unisex) all this time, spotting the fashion elite toting it around recently on Instagram is solidifying its need-now status for me.
The interesting design featuring knot details inspired by the obi sash of traditional Japanese dresses, combined with its versatility with the crossbody strap and rich color options, plus the fact that it's statement-making but not in your face and flashy, cements it as the ideal It bag for me.
What do you think? To showcase the bag further and prove its worth, I rounded up some visual inspiration for you below. Plus, I shopped out a variety of silhouettes to consider, including other handbags I'm feeling. Now excuse me while I save my pennies to order the stunner.
Come on now, how could you not resist this stunning red satchel? I'm so into it paired with a coordinating coat for an instant statement look.
While the bag can absolutely be worn off-duty, it brings instant sophistication to a work ensemble as well.
While you can carry the bag with the top handle, the crossbody detail is forward and functional paired with a casual outfit.
The purple style is the one I'm eyeing most—the hue feels very refreshing for the season.
The bag brings just the right amount of polish to a chill winter look.
