Now that Labor Day has come and gone, it's time we shifted our attention to all things fall fashion. At this point, we've covered all the big trends, and now it's time to start being picky about which ones we're really adding to our wardrobes. Just like we do at the top of every month, we just dropped a fresh collection from our Who What Wear line, and this month, it's filled with all the season's most important trends to get your closet ready for the season ahead.

With so many new arrivals to choose from, we're not being shy about playing favorites. From the leather trend everyone's talking about right now to the puff-sleeved pieces that will earn you so many compliments, these are the only fall trends our editors have eyes for. If you're familiar with our line, you'll know that everything from the collection is (as always) available in sizes XS to 4X and under $60 (er, under $50 in the case of this drop).

Ready to usher in some editor-approved fall trends to your wardrobe? Scroll down to see and shop all the trends in our new arrivals for September, or head to Target stores to check out the designs in person.

THE TREND: UTILITY

Yep, utility-inspired pieces are still at the top of our shopping lists for fall. The trend has proved its staying power, and we're doubling down on our commitment to the cargo pieces because 1) they look super cool, and 2) their neutral tones pretty much go with everything.

Our editors can't get enough of leather (and its faux look-alikes) since it's a material that always looks super luxe, no matter its price tag.

Classic prints like checks and houndstooth are making a huge return this fall, and we love their timeless appeal.

Fact: We've never come across a puffy sleeve we didn't like. The trend is hardly new, but we're highlighting just how fresh it can feel on fall silhouettes like jackets and dresses.

Leopard, zebra, tiger—all the animal prints are trending hard right now, and we love how the graphic prints make any outfit really pop.
