This Is the Most Expensive-Looking Trend of Fall 2018

This summer, it was almost cool to look, well, cheap. Beaded bags, PVC shoes, shell jewelry, neon, and tie-dye have reigned supreme for the past several months, but fall is almost here, and it's time to re-add a big dose of polish to your wardrobe.
We've been extensively reviewing the F/W 18 runways, and it's become clear that a particularly luxe trend has captured designers' hearts this season, and it's guaranteed to make any item (and anything said item is paired with) look more expensive: embossed croc. (It's also a classic, so you shouldn't feel guilty about investing in it this season.) Mock croc, which is usually in the form of accessories, made multiple appearances on the fall runways of Louis Vuitton, Marni, Tory Burch, Versace, Rejina Pyo (as seen in the photo above), and so many more. Not only that, but also Net-a-Porter's retail fashion director, Lisa Aiken, recently noted when doing an Instagram Story takeover for us that "stamped croc is the next big accessory trend." (And she's never wrong about these things.)
We found a mind-blowing amount of stylish croc accessories to shop, so if you're in the mood for a more expensive-looking fall wardrobe that won't actually break the bank, keep scrolling for ultra-cheap options and some that are a little more of an investment.
Lisa Aiken confirmed the trend on our Instagram.
