Paraiso's Miami Swim Week couldn't have fallen at a better time. As it's mid-June, we've been introduced to the biggest swimwear trends of the season, but there's nothing like a collection of killer runway shows to really help determine which trends are worth buying into. The results are in, and the answers are clear. I couldn't be more excited to report my findings.

Overall, the summer is heating up, and since the first day of summer has officially arrived, I must report that it's time to get shopping. Below, I rounded up pieces reminiscent of the trends I saw at Miami Swim Week along with some of my favorite items that you can already shop for—straight off of the runway. Get your credit card ready because you're going to want to shop this one.

If you like tapping into your feminine energy, this trend is most definitely for you. Club L London featured strong and bold ruffles on its runway models, and details like lace and bows are not that far behind. This trend is the cutest way to tap into your inner child at the beach.

Brands such as Matte Collection, Sigal, and Azulu spent their time at Miami Swim Week convincing us all to invest in our cover-ups. Each of these brands showcased glamorous swimsuit cover-ups that reminded me of the Jane Birkin summer that I'm hoping to have. Think the South of France aesthetic magnified.

One of my favorite swimsuit trends of 2023 has to do with the way that designers are incorporating jewelry elements into everyday swimsuits. Pearl, gold, silver, and so much more have made their way into my swimsuit collection, and I'm naturally obsessed.

A trend that I've been fascinated by leading up to this summer is rosettes. We've officially seen rosettes everywhere from the runway to the ready-to-wear red carpets. At Miami Swim Week, this was no different. Emerging fashion designer Justina McKee of Matte Collection highlighted this trend in her collection along with Club L London.

Glitter is a swimsuit trend that I've been wanting to become affordable, and it finally has. Brands at swim week weren't afraid of these sparkly suits, and now, I'm fully convinced that I need to be wearing one at every opportunity that I have to hit the beach.

Maximalist prints are simply a part of the Miami identity, so it was no surprise that this trend skyrocketed at Miami Swim Week. Whether it was baroque prints or ditsy florals, this is a trend that can't be missed. Luli Fama hosts one of the biggest shows at swim week every year, and its prints were epic.

Pink is just that girl right now. Thanks to the trending Barbiecore aesthetic, pink has simply been everywhere. There were very few shows at Miami Swim Week that skipped out on this trend. It was a big sign that pink is back and better than ever.

One-pieces made a major statement across the swim-week runways. Becca Ingle from LainSnow centered its most popular design around this silhouette, and I'm obsessed. Notable themes from designers were cutouts and intricate details. Think one-shoulder tops at Natasha Tonic and crazy cutouts at Axil Swim.

Growing up with no choice but to wear a rotation of school uniforms and activewear, her love for fashion really blossomed when she moved away for college and was able to finally define her very own personal style. Shortly thereafter, she interned at Elle magazine and instantly knew that editorial was for her. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, she worked for ShopBazaar, contributing regularly to Bazaar.com, and finally made her way to Who What Wear, where she is an associate editor.
