Remember several months ago when we filled you in on the legging trend no one saw coming? Ever since then, we’ve been on the lookout for more real-life examples of the stirrup legging trend in action. Lo and behold, the same style star who Instagrammed them this summer, Pernille Teisbaek, just wore them to London Fashion Week, with a very accessible outfit, to boot.
Teisbaek paired an oversize Balenciaga turtleneck sweater with her stirrup leggings, which made for an easy and relaxed yet polished look. What we really love about Teisbaek’s styling of the leggings is the way she looped the stirrup over the outside of her shoes (white shoes, at that, which are another big trend concept. If you’re going to wear them, might as well flaunt them! Consider this street style star–approved outfit proof that stirrup leggings are much easier to wear than you’d think.
