Runway and Street Style Approved: How to Shop 2023's Biggest Print Trend

Despite snakeskin being the preferred print on the spring/summer 2023 runways (Khaite and 16Arlington are the ones to thank), it seems like the popularity has spread into the fall season. I know what you're thinking—snakeskin isn't anything entirely new to the fashion scene, but designers' fresh spins on the animal print have given it a cooler lease on life. Even when I was curating my fall wish list, I noticed I had more than one snakeskin addition, one being *the* Khaite belt everyone wants and printed boots from Schutz. I also snagged a tan snakeskin coat at a recent Nanushka sample sale, so you could say I'm on board with calling this the It print of 2023.

I combed through the internet to find the best snakeskin fashion picks, and I have a feeling you'll be quite pleased with the selection ahead. It can be pretty easy for animal-printed pieces to skew on the tacky side, and that's why I spent hours selecting the chicest and coolest options on the market for you to shop from. It's no secret that whatever Khaite releases on its runways instantly becomes what's designated as cool in the fashion world. I've already spotted the brand's belts, tops, and boots out among fashion folk.

Snakeskin doesn't only have to be done on leather. 16Arlington proves the print can be just as stunning on a sequined party dress.

As I said before, you can really thank Khaite for taking the lead on snakeskin ruling fashion in 2023. When our editor Anna LaPlaca showed up with this stellar on-sale pick from the designer label, multiple compliments (and maybe one jealous glare) were thrown her way.

If you're usually not one to play with prints, don't fret. You can still get in on the fun. Simply add a printed belt to your minimal outfit, and it'll act as the perfect finishing touch.
