Last week, images surfaced of North West wearing a matching turtleneck top–and-pants set that quickly went viral across Instagram. The outfit—a mini version of one of Saks Potts’ recent runway looks—couldn’t feel more of-the-moment, particularly because of the slime-green color, which has emerged as the shade people care about most in fashion right now.

For months, we’ve been seeing fashion girls across Instagram wearing pieces in the bold hue. Who What Wear’s assistant editor Anna LaPlaca has been particularly behind the trend, even tagging her Instagram posts with the #slimewatch2k18 to track all of her slime-green fashion content. The hashtag, started by Coveteur editor Hannah Baxter, has a healthy supply of her own slime-green outfit posts. Now, I only expect the trend to explode as we head into 2019. Ahead, see the inspiration for how to style the electric shades of slime green for yourself and then shop pieces to add to your closet.
