>Few style stars’ closets are as easy to copy as Jeanne Damas’s. While she shares so much of what she wears via Instagram, last year she launched her clothing line, Rouje, which is filled with pieces you’d find in her closet. Frankly, you’d probably find them in many French girls’ closets. And the S/S 17 offerings are no different.
>While the pieces are technically a tribute to the women in Damas’s life whom she admires, according to a press release, they each feel special for their vintage-inspired appeal. We’re particularly keen on the dainty floral prints that are seen in wrap skirts, ladylike dresses, and button-down tops. Meanwhile, ’90s-era slip dresses and ’60s wide-leg jeans also complete the lineup.
>In all, the collection leans casual, understated, but also feels elegant. It has that je ne sais quoi quality we all strive for, and Damas has a true understanding of the pieces we love to live in. Trust: We’ll be adding several items to cart before the end of the day.
