Everyone's Ditching Their Cat-Eye Sunglasses for This Shape

Remember this time last year when everyone and their mother was buzzing about this exact pair of cat-eye sunglasses? It seemed like they popped up on every single celeb and It girl on our radar, meaning they were all but impossible to ignore. Well, everyone who wore those infamous Le Specs x Adam Selman sunglasses has been trading them out for a brand-new shape just in time for summer: rectangular sunglasses.

As with pretty much any trend that's about to break, we first spotted rectangular sunglasses on Bella Hadid. Her black Off-White pair has a particularly retro feel to them, especially when worn with her Fendi logo bag and throwback baggy jeans. But Bella's not the only one to join in on the sunglasses trend. I tested them out recently and should note that I also own the previously mentioned Le Specs pair, which had not departed my face until just now. My conclusion? They're the perfect addition to all my summer outfits that have a retro vibe to them (think milkmaid tops and baguette bags).

Go on to see the outfits that are inspiring me to wear my new rectangular pair and shop the chicest picks of the trend.
