As a stylist for over 10 years, I've dressed women of all ages, sizes and backgrounds. And something I often get told is that they think they're '"too old" to wear something. My reply? Wear whatever makes you feel good. Because wearing what you love will instantly give you the confidence to pull off any look. With that being said, though, there are some particular trends that I always believe work on absolutely everyone, no matter your age.

1. A Trouser Suit

Style Notes: The power of a great trouser suit knows no bounds. Wear it to the office with a shirt, at the weekend with trainers or for a festive soirée with heels— it's the do-it-all duo that's the ideal alternative to a party dress. Pink a bold colour to counteract the dreary weather or go with a classic: black, grey, white or metallic.

Style Notes: If it isn't broke, don't fix it. The black dress will always be timeless, flattering and effortlessly stylish and that's why it's a party season hit each and every year. Style Notes: I remember when Monikh first wore the Topshop slip skirt in 2018, and I was instantly sold. Style Notes: When I fancy giving my party dress collection a break, I always look to a jumpsuit. The one-piece is a ready-made outfit that needs little styling to look amazing. Need further proof?
