Lauren Conrad Told Us Which Shoes Are In for Fall

This month, it’s officially time to pack up and store your beloved summer footwear. That’s right—goodbye, flip-flops and espadrilles! It’s time to make room in those closets for boots and close-toed shoes. If I’ve learned anything about the upcoming season, it’s that fall has proven to be full of chic shoe selections. Classic boots have gotten an upgrade, a surprising style is back on trend, and ballet flats are as popular as ever. If you’re looking to do a shoe overhaul this season, let this post be your one-stop shop.

Keep scrolling to see five fancy footwear options I’ve had my eye on for the upcoming months…

This style has been popping up every year, and for good reason: The heels are easy to wear all day long, and they’re adorable. They’re also very versatile shoes...

Boots will forever be synonymous with fall and winter, so why not upgrade from your typical selection? Over-the-knee boots are on the rise this season (pun intended!), and they’re an easy way to make your legs look a mile long. Wear them with a chic miniskirt, or layer them over your favorite pair of skinny jeans. No matter how you style them, everyone will be doing a double take. Here are a few of my favorites…

If you’re looking to elevate your outfit without sacrificing your feet in the process, block heels are for you. This season, booties are seeing a bit of a makeover. While the following boots share the same block heel (which I love), they all have details that set them apart. I love the metal hardware on these ankle boots from ASOS, as well as the colorful suede on the Rag & Bone booties.

There are few shoes more classic than loafers. No longer just found in the office, consider loafers your new go-to flats. From buckle embellishments to luxurious textures, these shoes provide both comfort and style. If you’ve been on the fence about purchasing a pair, let these next selections persuade you.

This season, fashion is taking a tip from the ballet world. The color palette alone is soft and timeless (think blush pink and black). Add in sweet bow details and you have me hooked. Since I’ve been a long-time fan of ballet flats and love to include them in my LC Lauren Conrad collections, I thought I’d save the best shoe style for last. You can never have too many ballet flats in your closet.
