Summer is slowly fading away and so are those lazy, sunny days that I love so much. As much as I hate to see it go, I can't help but look forward to all the exciting things that come with the arrival of fall. While we’re in between seasons, it’s not quite cool enough to completely ditch my entire summer wardrobe just yet. Transitional pieces are dominating the racks, allowing our closets to slowly change with the season. After planning my upcoming collections for both Paper Crown and LC Lauren Conrad, there are a handful of trends that I can’t wait to add to my own wardrobe. Think luxe textures, vintage patterns, and lovely details. So in the spirit of this time of transition, I'm going to share with you six trends that will be huge for the next six months.

>This color may be a staple in my closet all year round, but I’m pretty excited that it will be dominating the scene next season as well. From handbags to dresses and everything in between, you can’t go wrong with the perfect shade of pink.
It’s easy to see that ruffles are dominating the scene. From dresses to denim and most definitely tops, no garment is safe. My favorite way to wear this trend has to be blouses, though. Here are a few of my personal favorites.
Let the fall festivities begin. Add a little shimmer and shine to both your everyday and occasion wear, and I promise you’ll be the belle of the ball.
As a denim enthusiast myself, I love seeing how this trend evolves from season to season. There are so many unique varieties on the market right now, it’ll be easy to make a statement no matter what piece you choose.
Trends are giving a nod to past decades, and the ’70s have to be my favorite. Gingham was summer’s favorite pattern, and it is slowly transitioning into bold plaid with pops of vintage color.
Add a little bit of luxury to your wardrobe with some soft velvet. From head to toe, there are so many velvet options to choose from. You can’t go wrong with glam party dresses, daring heels, and even a classic crossbody bag.
Which one of these trends are you most excited for? Be sure to let me know in the comments!
