This Is Where Our Editors Plan on Buying Their Chunky Boots This Winter
Sponsor Content Created With Kurt Geiger London
Luckily for us, it doesn’t seem like chunky boots are going anywhere anytime soon. Year after year, they come back stronger than ever—so much so that we’re pretty sure they’ve officially transitioned from a trend into a classic wardrobe staple.
As you can probably tell from all our Instagram photos and WTBYB shoots, we Who What Wear editors are big fans of the chunky boot in all its iterations. Ankle, knee-high, lace-up—you name it. Maybe we love them so much because they’re just so versatile. Throw them on with your favourite full-length jeans, cropped jeans, mini skirt or midi dress, and they’ll upgrade the most basic of looks instantly. You can even wear them with your summer dresses to carry them straight into autumn. Plus, they’re practical, and we love it when form and function meet in the sartorial middle.
So where should you get your chunky boots this season? Whether you’re looking to invest in your first pair or need an upgrade after wearing yours to death over the past couple of years, in our opinion, one of the best places to find chunky boots right now is actually on the high street. Kurt Geiger has always made great boots, so it’s hardly surprising that the brand has such an extensive, on-point collection of chunky styles for 2021, including plenty of versions of the classic Chelsea stomper boot, lace-up utility styles with track soles, ankle boots, mid-calf boots and knee-highs. The brand even has a few white versions this year. Whatever your style, if you’re going to visit one place to find your dream boots this winter, check out Kurt Geiger.
Keep scrolling to see and shop some of our favourite pairs from the latest edit. (And no, this isn’t even all of them.)
