When I travel, I love buying specialty items that each region is known for, such as mochilas from Colombia, Waterford crystal from Ireland, and Kona coffee from Hawaii. When it comes to Saint-Tropez's trademark export, there's one fashion item that stands above the rest: sandals.
Last year, French publication Le Monde wrote a feature dubbed "Saint-Tropez's War of the Luxury Sandals," referencing the competition between local brands K.Jacques and Rondini.
