5 Summer J.Crew Outfits That'll Have Everyone Thinking "Chic!" When They See You
If you're tapped into fashion even just a tiny bit, you'll know how much fashion power J.Crew currently holds. Even as someone who never really shopped at the so-called preppy retailer until recently, I fully understand the hype it's received this year. You can always find compliment-inducing standout pieces and easy basics you'll get plenty of wear out of. I'd even argue that you don't have to spend a penny at the store to find it helpful. How? Well, a favorite pastime of mine is looking through the outfits featured in the brand's campaign imagery and on J.Crew Creative Director Olympia Gayot's Instagram feed.
When I scroll through J.Crew's site, I create multiple outfits from the latest selection of new arrivals and best sellers. While some can be loosely re-created with the basics I already own, I'm very tempted to purchase the unique It buys, including the punchy colored knits (that are perfect in every shade) or the bag charms that will act as a compliment magnet.
If you're searching for fresh summer outfits, look no further. With attire for everything from an outdoor lunch to your next vacation, I've got it all covered. Feel free to copy each look or shop any key pieces to style them yourself. Here's to a season of stellar outfits.
With the right accessories and use of textures, an all-white outfit will look anything but boring. People won't know what to compliment first—the bag charm, the turquoise necklace, or the raffia shoulder bag.
Printed sarongs are the perfect way to make a statement on the beach. Once you have one, you can pair it with any bathing suits in the same color scheme. Points for versatility!
Tie-dye can often feel a bit casual, but this skirt is by far the most elegant take on the design effect. It makes a statement but also feels refined enough to wear to a summer dinner.
For summer 2025, J.Crew really passed the color palette test. Every single pick is getting me closer and closer to hitting checkout on my unrealistic shopping cart. I took notes from the brand's own Instagram when I put together this outfit because from there I realized, why not throw together all the colors? The combination of pink, green, and blue is so appealing to the eyes.
Butter yellow is clearly the color of the summer, and this is how I'd like to see it styled. Keep it all neutral, but a pop of red pairs so well with the pale hue.
After interning at Who What Wear in 2019, Yusra Siddiqui found her way to the team after graduating with a fashion media degree. She's also spent time writing and working for publications such as Fashionista, Coveteur, Nylon, and Allure. When she's on the job, she's perusing runway shows, analyzing the latest social media trends, and diving deep into all things Gen Z-related.
