The Expensive-Looking H&M Dress All of Our Editors Just Ordered

I'm seriously SO impressed with this dress.

H&M has been providing us with on-trend, affordable styles pretty consistently since it entered the UK market almost fifty years ago. We have to say, though, right now H&M's new-in section is feeling stronger than ever, with some of the most elevated and covetable pieces we've seen across the entire high street landing daily. From the brand's expensive-looking bouclé jackets, to their recent relaunch of denim for diverse body sizes. We would be lying if we said we aren't getting overly excited to check the brand's website on the reg.

While our current H&M addiction is distracting to say the least, we were rewarded for our efforts this week, with the new arrival of what's clearly about to be the brand's next hero dress (if it stays in stock long enough). The Textured-Knit Dress is a riff on one of the most popular trends right now—bouclé materials especially in clean creams are popping up on the most stylish IG feeds we know, with elevated designer brands like By Malene Birger and Toteme leading the charge. Moments after this more affordable piece was circulated around our Who What Wear Slack channels, basically all our editors had it in their baskets (we know all too well the feeling of disappointment when a key H&M buys sells out). And so we thought it was only right that we share it with you, too.

Once it arrived and we tried it on, to road-testing it confirm just how good it is IRL, it became even more imperative that we let you in on it. Not only does it tick off the cream, textured-knit trend, but it's also a maxi length—something you can be prepared to see a lot of for spring/summer 2023. We're imagining it to look great with a leather biker, or bomber jacket (yep, they're back), and a pair of knee or ankle boots for right now. Then on the warmer days of spring and summer we'll be adding a basket bag and leather sandals. And, as if the dress wasn't enough, H&M have also released their own version of a jumper and skirt co-ord in the same uber-chic fabric, which video editor Remi Afolabi tried on and love (see the pics below). If you see us in either of these looks at shows during the upcoming fashion month, don't be surprised.

Keep scrolling and you can shop these elevated pieces now before they're gone. If you've become as obsessed with this trend as us, I've also added in more of our favourite textured-knit pieces below, too.
