If Puppies and Furry Boots Are Involved, I'm In
In the world of Insta bait, I've been had. Sure, I love fashion, but throw puppies in the mix (and, sure, a supermodel), and a double-tap is inevitable. Credit where credit is due, Tod's, because you've created fashion week gold.
The design house presented its latest collection in Milan, sending models down the runway in the rich leathers and knits it's known for. But, in an especially genius move, Tod's had models walk with an unexpected accessory in tow: puppies. While Gucci sparked buzz by arming models with faux severed heads, there's something slightly more approachable about skipping the fantastical and just sticking with baby animals (a guaranteed crowd pleaser).
Gigi Hadid opened the show holding a bewildered-looking French bulldog pup, but don't be fully distracted by the cute animals—the outfit was pretty darn enticing too. An oversize shearling jacket, leather pants, and shearling-lined boots sound like a combination out of my winter-dressing dreams.
