I always look forward to Free People's summer collections. They're filled with ethereal pieces with a focus on cool jewelry and maximalist accessories. This year, the Me and You Midi Slip (pictured above) has been a hot item among the fashion set, and the Carrie Tube and Lowen Midi Skirt are some of the top-selling items on Who What Wear.
For coastal classic pieces, Jenni Kayne is the blueprint. Outfits with this baggy white tee, olive linen set, and the already-famous Kinney dress have been saved in my "fashion inspo" IG folder for months, and I'm overdue for an investment. Similar to the Reformation pieces, these can easily be worn into next season.
Emulating French-girl style will forever be the goal, and thanks to brands like Sézane, we Americans are one step closer to achieving it. This brand perfectly strikes the balance between trendy and timeless. The beaded necklace, silk scarf, and basket bag are my proof.
