This year has been nothing short of a whirlwind. One minute, I was living my L.A. dream: sunny mornings in a single-family home, a backyard for my 80-pound Bernese mountain dog, and a bougie gym that looked like it should be on the cover of a home magazine. The next minute, my stuff was put in boxes, and I was on a one-way flight to New York City. I traded square footage for a view of the Empire State Building, and now I'm running all around the city in comfortable (but still chic) shoes trying to keep up with the fast-paced lifestyle.
And while I'm physically in New York, California will always be a part of me. So yes, I keep up with both coasts religiously. Having my best friends split across L.A. and NYC certainly helps, and I'd like to think it makes me uniquely qualified to know exactly what all the stylish girls are shopping for, wearing, and obsessing over right now. That brings me to holiday gifting. Finding the perfect present for the fashion person in your life—your wife, daughter, sister, or that friend who can predict a trend before the runway—is no easy feat. No one wants an "avocado... thanks" moment. And if you're shopping for yourself (which I fully support as an end-of-year ritual), even better. The good news? I've got both coasts on tap, and I'm rounding up the chicest, editor-approved gifts any fashion lover would be ecstatic to unwrap. Adidas sneakers, luxe beauty sets, cashmere sweaters—nothing cliche, everything très chic. Happy browsing.
