I Hate Being Cold—Here Are the Pieces in My Cart to Brave the NYC Weather

I cannot stress this enough: I hate being cold. I'm simply not built for it. Historically, I had no clue how to dress for winter—complaining nonstop anytime I left the house December through February.
Last year, I decided enough was enough. I made it my mission to figure out how to dress for New York winters, starting with getting a pair of vintage knee-high insulated boots on eBay, a few pairs of fleece-lined leggings, and a long wool coat from Filippa Hägg.
To get ahead of it this season, I'm building on that groundwork and continuing to build a capsule for the season ahead that protects me against the elements. Uniqlo Heattech pieces, thermal tights, cashmere, coats, puffers, scarves, gloves, hats, earmuffs, waterproof shoes—I'm stocking up. My wish list includes a Loulou de Saison sweater, a Paloma Wool bonnet, and vintage Prada Sport boots.
Since we're going into my "I need to move to L.A." months soon, here's what's currently in my cart to keep me warm.
I'd love the matching red cashmere ribbed gloves and Tier Hood from Baserange.
