15 Chic Activewear Pieces You Can Wear Beyond the Gym
For the longest time, I had zero activewear in my closet. Eventually, I "upgraded" to having one pair of black leggings—which I only wore when working out. I convinced myself that exercise clothes weren't really my vibe, and every time I browsed the category, nothing ever felt aligned with my personal style.
Over the last year, I decided to finally look for activewear that didn't just feel like activewear—pieces I'd be as happy to wear to Pilates as I would while running errands. I ended up finding a whole new generation of brands that are focused on designing just that, such as Adanola, Vang Athletica, Exercere, 437, CSB, Form, and Set Active. Through my research, I realized that retailers like Gap, Aritzia, and Reformation all have in-house lines of their own too (Gapfit, Golden, and Ref Active).
Below, a roundup of chic, elevated options that still look put together beyond the gym.
