I Like My Clothing to Be Simple and Chic—These 38 Spring Basics Are It
If I were to describe my style in a few words, the term "simple" would make the list—especially regarding my clothing choices. Okay, I won't turn away from a statement-making accessory or a unique pair of shoes, but the rest of my vibe is pretty pared down and made up of basics. But no, a more pared-down look doesn't equate to a dull look. Basics, particularly elevated basics, can be quite chic in modern silhouettes.
I'm referring to items like forward tailoring, cool tanks, and current-feeling outwear like the trench coat pictured above. With that in mind, I decided to curate an edit of the best elevated spring basics I've seen recently to inspire any shopping needs. Keep scrolling for a range of pieces that are simple, versatile, and oh so chic.
