You might think that since I'm a fashion editor, I have a closet full of shoes that I wear on rotation. And while that's partially true (I really do own a lot of shoes), in reality, I wear a few specific go-to's for almost every occasion. When I find shoes that I can dress up or down, I'm instantly sold, especially if they're sneakers. I want a shoe that I can wear with a pair of trousers at the office and to my after-work gym sesh. (Having to carry an extra pair of workout sneaks just isn't what my cute work tote was built for, thank you very much.) That's where New Balance comes in. The brand has proven time and time again that its comfortable kicks are not just for your workout. Keep scrolling to see how three stylish fashion people are wearing New Balance throughout their daily routines.

From morning workouts…

"I live in L.A., and my weekend routine involves a morning workout followed by a coffee run with friends, so I love wearing a look that can transition between the two. For long weekend walks around L.A., I always slip into a black tank top and leggings with ankle socks and sneakers. It's my easy outfit formula for active days when I'm reaching my step count. The look is simple and streamlined, prioritizing comfort and function. These cloud-like sneakers have a foam base, so I can walk in them for miles and miles."

…to coffee dates.

"Day-to-day style in L.A. is pretty relaxed and low-key, so sneakers are a mainstay in my regular wardrobe. I love that these New Balance sneakers can be so easily transitioned from exercise to on-the-go activities. I'm always looking for ways to dress them up, and recently, that's been a workout-to-coffee uniform of a gym onesie with an oversize blazer. The look is functional for workouts but allows me to transition to plans beyond them."

From long walks…

"I am a mom on the go, and I'm all about comfort when it comes to sneakers these days, so these New Balance shoes were an easy pick for me. I love to go for long walks in my neighborhood, and feeling confident and styled is a priority of mine. These New Balance running shorts and sports bra will be on repeat every week for my long walks, and the fact that the sneakers match my sports bra is a win."

…to lunch with friends.

"I love meeting up with friends for quick lunch dates before I have to go pick up the kiddos. And I love that after my walk, I can throw on the same sneaker with a cute two-piece to grab lunch with my friends. It's all about versatility. A cropped blazer does the trick to stay warm in a restaurant, a cute tennis skirt gives that elevated athleisure look that we all love, and my New Balance sneakers are a pop of color for my otherwise neutral outfit."

From afternoon hikes…

"When I'm looking for a sneaker, comfort and style are tied for my number-one must-haves, and these check both boxes. My boyfriend and I recently adopted a new puppy, which has made comfort on the go more important than ever. (All my dog moms know this phase well!) The Fresh Foam is perfect for our hikes and keeping up with him throughout the day. I kept this hiking look simple with navy New Balance leggings and a cropped crewneck."

…to work.

"I love the minimalist design and neutral color palette of this sneaker because I can wear it with so many things in my closet besides activewear. I can run from my hike to a day of working with no problem. This trench coat is such a staple in my closet especially during late spring and early summer when the weather in Denver can be unpredictable at best. I love pairing a trench with activewear because it immediately elevates the look and takes you through your entire day. Layering it with an oversize button-down adds another element and a bit of color to this all-neutral look. The Fresh Foam makes me feel like I'm walking on a cloud all day."
