I Can (and Will) Wear These Jeans Every Day—Here Are 5 Chic Looks
Sponsor Content Created With Lucky Brand
Welcome to Weekday Wardrobe, a series in which one Who What Wear editor or staffer will snap a pic of the outfits they wear from Monday to Friday. We'll break down where you can shop it all to inspire your own everyday style, no matter what's on your weekly agenda.
At the start of a new season, I always find myself fixating on a particular clothing item. In the spring, I couldn't stop wearing colorful knits. Summer was all about maxi dresses and skirts. And now that fall is here, I'm officially in my denim era. For the next few months, you can bet on me showing up in jeans to almost any occasion. This season, I'm specifically swooning over the fall selection at Lucky Brand. Just so we're clear, no style is off-limits—wide-leg, low-rise (the controversial trend I'm seeing everywhere), boot-cut, and more have landed in my cart.
Since I have more than enough pairs of jeans to keep my fall wardrobe afloat, I decided to dedicate five days this week to Lucky Brand's denim. The looks below range from ultra casual to put-together to edgy, but they're all on-trend and fall-ready. Keep scrolling for my head-to-toe looks, and get ready to shop these closet staples.
I heard it's good luck to start the week in a chic outfit, so I'm sticking to the tried and true white button-down with high-rise, wide-leg pants. Dark-wash jeans paired with neutral accessories and shoes really gives me that fall feeling. Throw on a wool hat to give the look a seasonal element that's stylish and effective.
Tuesday's look is the classic T-shirt-and-jeans combo that will simply never go out of style. The transition from summer to fall calls for light layers that you can wear during chilly mornings and drape over your shoulders during sunny afternoons, so this cardigan is an absolute must. Add ankle booties (I love the exposed heel) and a belt to these '90s-inspired baggy jeans to complete the look.
Honestly, by the time Wednesday rolls around, my will to choose a cute 'fit starts dwindling, so I make it my mission to create an outfit that's cool enough to earn compliments but easy enough to throw on effortlessly. Distressed denim and a cropped sweater are my secret weapons for that effortless fall look. Fisherman sandals made a huge comeback this summer, and I'm clinging to this trend for as long as I can. As for hair and accessories, there's nothing that gold jewelry and a claw clip can't fix.
Thursday's look is perfect for working from a cute location while people-watching. As we draw closer to the weekend, I find myself itching for a change of scenery, and my local coffee shop usually does the trick. (Can't you imagine yourself wearing this outfit with a cup of coffee in hand?) These low-rise, wide-leg jeans make quite the statement, so I'm pairing them with a simple sweater and mules to maintain their star power. And let's be real: The tote bag simply adds to the aesthetic.
On Fridays, I challenge myself to piece together an outfit that I can comfortably wear throughout the workday and during the evening. My base look consists of a graphic tee and high-rise jeans with a frayed waistband and tapered fit. To add some edge, I throw on a leather jacket, a black bag, and suede mules. This foolproof outfit recipe takes me from day to night with ease.
