Instagram Just Hired Eva Chen for a Major Fashion Role
It wasn’t long ago when Eva Chen announced she was stepping down from Lucky to spend more time with her family. Fast-forward a few months and the fashion editor has another announcement. She’s accepted a position at Instagram as head of its fashion partnerships. Details of her role will most likely include working with the industry’s top influencers, brands, and publications to deepen Instagram’s impact in the fashion world. And perhaps head the company’s efforts toward e-commerce? (Fingers crossed!) With her eye for the perfect square-fitted fashion photo and ability to create catchy hashtags (see #EvaChenPose), Instagram couldn’t have selected a better person to take on this new role. Congrats, Eva!
Scroll down to see the adorable announcement she posted on Instagram (duh!) this morning.
