I've Assembled 5 Easy Outfits Around This Best-Selling COS Dress
There's no piece of clothing I love more than an easy throw-on dress, especially when its one that can be worn in a multitude of ways. This is why I was so on-board with the return of the tube dress; from the outset it may be divisive—I, for one, wore them quite questionably in my early teens, and I was worried I'd carry that trauma with me into adulthood. Sleeker than ever, the current crop of tube dresses has convinced me that, yes, I can wear them again. And I should! For they'll help me unlock so many dress outfits this spring. The dress I have in mind? COS's ribbed tube dress.
The epitome of easy style, relevant for every season, perfect for every outing and deserving of a place in my wardrobe, COS's tube dress may be simple but it definitely shouldn't be overlooked. This particular dress has been a best-seller for the high-street brand over the last few months, with a full size range proving hard to find. However, after receiving a healthy restock this week, I thought it was high time I gave it the spotlight it deserves.
To prove just how hard-working it could be in your wardrobe, I've assembled five easy-to-put-together outfits around COS's ribbed tube dress, using additional shopping from the brand to illustrate them. Perfect for spring and beyond, see how I plan on wearing this COS dress over the next few months.
1. Shacket + Shirt + Necklace + Loafers
Style Notes: Layering is essential in the early months of spring. Use your tube dress as your base to layer different textures upon, which as cotton shirting and a twill shacket.

2. Leather Jacket + Earrings + Sunglasses + Sandals
Style Notes: In my opinion, all-black outfits never fail to look chic. For a no-brainer going-out ensemble, pair a simple black dress with some on-trend leather outerwear, then finish with sexy sandals and metallic accents.

3. Trench Coat + Boxy Tee + Belt + Loafers
Style Notes: Trench coats come in especially handy during a winter springtime. Try styling a boxy tee over your fitted dress, which will allow the dress to play the role of a skirt. Add a belt to cinch the look together and finish with the high street's best-looking loafers.

4. Blazer + Sunglasses + Turtleneck + Heels
Style Notes: Retro styling is having a moment right now thanks 1) to all of the '70s-style outfits we saw on the spring/summer runways, and 2) the series Daisy Jones & The Six. Approach it with nuance with bright blazer, roll neck, square sunglasses, heeled loafers and, yes, your tube dress.

5. Stripe Knit + Crossbody Bag + Earrings + Trainers
Style Notes: Dress-and-trainer outfits can be incredibly chic, particularly when you hone your colour palette to blacks and whites. Make your look feel even more contemporary with chunky silver jewellery.
