This Is the Denim Trend I Can't Wait to Wear

I'm not planning to give up my cropped flares or vintage washes anytime soon, but over the past few months, there's a new denim style that I keep noticing: topstitch denim. On the runway, and worn by a few of my favorite fashion insiders, this is the new style of jeans you'll want to try in 2018. It's less about a certain cut or fit, and more about having pops of contrasted stitching is a little detail that makes everything from jackets to flairs look especially luxe.
Since jeans are the piece I fall back over and over again, I like the idea of using topstitched styles as a way to wear denim that feels new and polished. My tip: Pair a high-waisted style with a white button-down or tee for an easy combination that feels oh so cool. Read on to shop a few of my favorite of-the-moment picks, all with that special detail: topstitching.
