"Girl, I need your help…" was the text message I opened from a close friend the other day asking for advice. No, she didn't need counsel for career woes or dating mishaps. It was something more challenging: where to find cheap spring sandals. Frankly, I don't blame her for reaching out for advice because I've been stressed before, too, trying to find chic footwear that won't cost me a fortune. It's not easy, especially when there are so many things to consider during the shopping process, such as recent trends, quality, brand recognition, versatility, comfort, and price tag.

It's no wonder that so many of us either give up, go over budget in proper Carrie Bradshaw form, or hit up the group chat. The latter is often the best option if you've got access to a really stylish friend (ahem, like me). Being able to turn to close friends for recommendations of chic sandals is the best way to circumvent all of the noise on the internet. But if you don't have someone you'd feel comfortable texting for shopping advice, don't fret. Ahead, I've shared a curation of the cheap spring sandals that I shared with a close friend recently so that you can join in on the group chat. Trust me—no one will believe that any of these affordable sandals were under $300.
