Zara Just Made an Entire Collection Around This "Boring" Trend

Just this week, Zara chose to not only hop on one of the biggest fall 2019 fashion trends but to create an entire collection based on it. Less a trend and more a way of dressing, the bourgeoisie look is embodied by prioritizing styling over It items, elevated separates over frivolity, and minimalism over maximalism. It's that last statement that has driven onlookers to see this trend as "boring" because compared to most others, it honestly kind of is—but in the best way possible. Shopping for this new wave of dressing takes serious intentionality as you are attempting to achieve an overall theme rather than a particular trend or statement piece.
Well, thanks to Zara, buying into the bourgeoisie trend has never been easier, and we have the brand's Keep It Uptown collection to thank for that. The new editorial and collection to match include all the right pieces one would need to fully take on the bourgeoise lifestyle, including checked blazers, knee-high boots, pleated midi skirts, and more. In case you're still a bit lost on what this trend is supposed to look like, read this and then scroll through the new Zara products ahead. They might seem boring on their own, but pair a few of the pieces together and you'll be on-trend for fall before you know it.
The two-tone fabrication on this boot makes it look so expensive.
Speaking of boots, find out which boot styles we are dumping this season and which we're buying instead.
