Zara Has Developed the Slogan Trend in the Most Perfect Way
The slogan T-shirt trend has been massive this year, with people quite literally wearing their hearts on their chests. But Zara has just taken the slogan trend one step further with the totally random thing we want from the new season drop. We're talking about slogan baseball caps.
The new collection includes two classic black baseball caps with the words "I'm here—to Stay" and "Awesome All the Time" written across the front and back in white stitching. Donald Trump's infamous "Make America Great Again" caps are perhaps the reason behind this niche micro trend—Public School created its own red caps earlier this year, changing the strapline to "Make America New York." Therefore, it does seem natural that this would be the next way to make a political statement with your wardrobe. Or just have a cheeky remark.
Models wore "Make America New York" caps in Public School's A/W 18 show.
