I Work at Revolve—These Soon-to-Be-Viral Festival Items Will Sell Out First
There are a few things that always loom over Indio, California, while everyone is partying in the desert in April: the scorching sun, for one, and the ubiquitous, unmistakable, inescapable presence of Revolve and its megawatt star-studded crowd of models, influencers, and celebrities. The retailer has worked tirelessly for years to maintain its cool-girl image year-round, but for one weekend in April, it shines 10 times brighter than usual (and not just because its shiny, sequin-covered minidresses and metallic cowboy boots are on display).
Festivals—including Coachella, Revolve Fest, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and the like—have become synonymous with Revolve's ever-growing amount of trend-forward clothing and in-house brands. And it's not by accident. Revolve's attire is expertly curated, providing its customers with a fashion-forward experience that practically guarantees them internet virality. "The Revolve customer is always looking for a statement piece that draws attention, whether it's a dress, an earring, a shoe, etc," Revolve's chief merchandising officer, Lauren Yerkes, tells Who What Wear. In a world where social media engagement is currency, having something that will set you apart from the crowd is essential. "We know they are coming to us looking for the latest trends and emerging designers that she can tag on Instagram and share with her friends," she adds.
Enter Revolve's 2024 Festival Shop, which coincides with Coachella, taking place on April 15 and April 16. If you're not attending a festival this summer, no worries. The styles are versatile enough to wear to summer parties, picnic dates, and tropical vacations. Its specialized style edits revolve around colorful knitwear, '90s minimalism, and double denim, which are all 2024 trends that will live far beyond this summer's festival circuit.
Naturally, as a leading force who conceptualizes what items Revolve's Festival Shop centers, Yerkes is instrumental in determining what we'll be wearing (and selling out!) this season. At a glance, Yerkes and her team are already predicting some big winners at Revolve Fest and Coachella later this month. "We have seen trends change over the years, but crochet, mesh, and any sheer elements seem to remain consistent," she explains. "This year, we feel strongly about metallics, Western elements, nods to the '90s, sneakers, and cowboy boots." We're sold already.
Below, shop all the items she and the Revolve team are guaranteeing will be all over your #FYP this summer.

"I'm obsessed with these pink cargos. The color is so fun for the season, and I love that you can take them from day to night with a graphic tee or a metallic/sequin crop top for a night out."
"You can't go wrong with a fun fringe dress with a pair of cowboy boots, and this Bronx and Banco one is perfect for festival season!"
"An essential for a festival is sunglasses, and this oval silhouette is chic and well-priced!"
"I'm all about comfort first at a festival, and these Veja Campo Sneakers are easy to clean and will match almost any look."
"Another piece I love is a matching set, like this Giuseppe di Morabito one. Not only is it so easy to throw on, this set specifically is great for a dinner in town with friends, and the rosette appliques are super on-trend this season."Shop the matching Side Cut-Out Midi Skirt ($620).

This is one of Revolve's best sellers, and all sizes are in stock right now.
Maxi hemlines are in this summer, and they'll protect you from the sun's harsh rays.
This body chain is a super-cute, affordable way to spice up a basic white dress you may have laying around in your closet.
I remember seeing this top everywhere last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if everyone is wearing it at Revolve Fest and Coachella this year.
This bikini top would be so cute with a pair of cargos or low-rise jeans.
