I've Tried So Many Nails Inc. Shades—These 10 Are the Classiest

Ever since I first discovered gel nails, I've been a loyal fan. However, there is something to be said for the fun and flexibility that nail polish can bring. Sure, it's not as long-lasting as gel, but if you want to switch up your colours more often, then removing the varnish is much quicker and easier than taking off gels. And with so many trending nail designs to try, polish makes it easier to experiment.

I'm giving my nails a break from gels at the moment, and I've been rummaging through my collection of nail polishes to get my nail colour fix. And I have to say not all nail polish brands are created equal. I want my nail polishes to be long-lasting with minimal chipping, and they need to dry pronto because I somehow always end up smudging them. One brand I turn to time and again is Nails Inc. I grew up using the brand, and it's still as good now for trending colours and finishes.

What has really caught my eye, however, is that Nails Inc. has some really fun nail varnishes as well as a broad range of classy colours. From magnet-reactive polish to "glazed donut" varnish, there are so many fun nail polish trends that they're tapping into. Many of them are great for party nail ideas or giving your everyday mani a little extra sparkle. So I tried some of the best Nails Inc. nail polishes and listed my favourite ones below.

The Best Nails Inc. Nail Polishes

While I love the "glazed donut" nail look made famous by Hailey Bieber, I'm not into the faff of using chrome powder to achieve the look. So when I saw this nail illuminator, I immediately had to try it. While it is not a chrome finish, it has a subtle pearlescent sheen that gives your nails a luminous glow. It's also quite sheer but can be layered up for a more intense look. It makes my hands look more pulled together but is still quite neutral, which makes a nice change from plain neutral shades. Plus, it's got me a lot of compliments when I've worn it.

On the days when I want a quick wash of colour on my nails without the commitment of applying multiple coats of polish, then I reach for this. It's a clear varnish tinted pink, which gives the nails a healthy flush of colour. Think of it as blusher for your nails. It's the ideal noncommittal polish that just makes your nails look perfectly groomed instantly. Plus, because it's sheer, it wears well and chips are almost undetectable.

With the festive season just around the corner, I'm being drawn to subtle glitter nail polishes. Think more of a gentle twinkle than full-throttle glitter. This polish is exactly that. It has subtle pieces of iridescent glitter, which makes nails glimmer. The bottle itself also lights up via a button at the bottom of the bottle—how festive! It looks pretty worn alone on bare nails or as a topper to other nail shades.

I've been seeing velvet and cat-eye nails taking off on Instagram and TikTok, which involve magnet-reactive pigments that morph as a magnet is held over the nails. I had only seen these in gel polish form until I saw that Nails Inc. has its own polish version, complete with a magnet on the lid. You apply one coat and allow to dry before applying a second and hovering the magnet over the nails for 15 seconds. You're then left with a velvet effect on the nails, which makes them look dimensional. I'll be wearing this plush pink hue for the party season, but it also comes in other colours.

If you do love a glitter polish, then run, don't walk, for this one. Nails Inc. describes this polish as an HD glitter, and I can see why. The glitter is multifaceted and reflects a lot of different colours. It's also incredibly pigmented so you can get an opaque glitter effect in just two coats. You could wear this all over the nail, but it was also look particularly great just on the tips of the nails for a glittering French manicure.
